4. Service providers and disclosures
We use service providers to operate the platform, including infrastructure and hosting, database and authentication, payment processing, website crawling, public local-search observation, email delivery, and operational monitoring. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments.
We may disclose information when instructed by the workspace owner, required by law, needed to protect rights and safety, or connected to a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of relevant assets. We do not sell personal information for money.
5. Website crawling and public data
Customers are responsible for having authority to submit a website, business, location, search phrase, or competitor for analysis. The service may collect publicly available website pages, search-result observations, business listing details, and review signals. Public availability does not remove all legal obligations; customers must use results lawfully and avoid unlawful surveillance, discrimination, or misuse.
6. Retention and deletion
We retain account, billing, scan, evidence, and task information while the account is active and as reasonably needed for the service, security, dispute resolution, tax/accounting duties, and legal compliance. Some backups and logs may persist for limited periods after deletion. To request account deletion or access to applicable personal information, email matt@bishoptech.dev.
7. Security and tenant separation
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including authenticated access, row-level data policies, secret separation, and restricted service credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Notify us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or information about disclosure of personal information. We may need to verify your identity and authority over a workspace before completing a request. You may also manage subscription status from the billing portal and browser controls from your device.
9. Children, international use, and changes
The service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where service providers operate. We may update this policy as the service changes; the posted date identifies the current version. Material changes may be communicated through the service or account email.
