Terms of Service
Last updated July 16, 2026 · BISHOPTECH LLC
1. Agreement and operator
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to BishopTech Insights, a service and entity of BISHOPTECH LLC (“BishopTech,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, subscribing, or using the service, you represent that you can enter this agreement for yourself or the business you represent.
If you do not agree, do not use the service. Questions may be sent to matt@bishoptech.dev.
2. The service
BishopTech Insights provides business visibility observations, website crawling, local-ranking observations, competitor and reputation monitoring, versioned scoring, task workflows, exports, and consultation links. Findings are informational decision-support tools. They are not guarantees of search placement, revenue, legal compliance, security, or business results.
3. Accounts and authority
- You must provide accurate account and business information and keep credentials confidential.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for ensuring invited teammates and contractors follow these Terms.
- You must have authority to submit each website, location, search phrase, business, and competitor for analysis.
- You must notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access.
4. Subscription, renewal, and cancellation
The standard platform subscription is $39.99 per month unless a different price is clearly shown at checkout. Subscriptions automatically renew each billing period until canceled. Taxes may apply. You authorize our payment provider to charge the selected payment method.
You may manage or cancel through the billing portal. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period. Fees already charged are nonrefundable except where required by law or expressly agreed by BishopTech. Failed payments may result in restricted or suspended access.
5. Allowances and fair use
The standard plan currently includes one business and primary location, two website scans per billing period, one 25-cell local visibility grid per billing period, up to five tracked searches, up to five monitored competitors, and three workspace seats. Published plan details at purchase control if they differ.
Allowances are enforced to protect reliability and provider costs. Attempts to evade limits, automate abusive requests, scrape the service, or interfere with other tenants may lead to suspension. Failed provider jobs may release reserved usage, but BishopTech determines whether a job qualifies as failed.
6. Optional execution services
The subscription does not include website implementation, content production, local listing management, development, advertising, automation, or ongoing managed services. BISHOPTECH LLC may separately offer those services through a proposal, statement of work, or other agreement. A consultation link does not create an obligation for either party.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to violate law or third-party rights; submit malicious code; obtain unauthorized access; overload providers; reverse engineer protected portions of the service except where law permits; resell access without written permission; produce unlawful discriminatory decisions; or misrepresent observations as guaranteed facts.
8. Customer content and license
You retain rights you hold in information you submit. You grant BishopTech a limited license to host, process, crawl, reproduce, analyze, and display that information as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service. You are responsible for the legality, accuracy, and permissions associated with submitted information.
9. BishopTech property
The platform, software, scoring methods, designs, documentation, reports, and branding are owned by BishopTech or its licensors, excluding customer content and public-source material. Your subscription grants a limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to use the service for internal business purposes while the subscription is active.
10. Third-party services and public observations
The service depends on third-party infrastructure, payment, database, crawling, mapping, search, and other providers. Their availability and outputs can change. Public search and map observations vary by time, location, personalization, and provider. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for changes outside our reasonable control.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, uninterrupted operation, or specific results. You remain responsible for business, technical, legal, and marketing decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BISHOPTECH LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, or business interruption. BishopTech’s aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid for the service during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for nonpayment, security risk, abuse, legal requirement, or material breach. You may stop using the service and cancel your subscription. Provisions that by nature should survive—including payment obligations, ownership, disclaimers, limitations, and dispute terms—will survive termination.
13. Changes and contact
We may update the service or these Terms. The posted date identifies the current version. Material changes may be communicated through the platform or account email. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
